100 Percent Barbie

I won't get started on my opinions about Barbie®, but I just stumbled upon this photo of a full-size version made by a college student to show how unrealistic the doll's proportions are:

The student, Galia Slayen, pictured with Barbie, has personal experience with anorexia and made the figure to draw attention to the problem of eating disorders and body image.

Bravo. This seems like a much more effective way to make a point that the recent Fotoshop by Adobé, which still suggests, if only in passing, that "eating healthy and exercise" are the road to perfection.
