Billy Bragg on the Move

Billy Bragg is currently touring the western U.S.

I loved this photo from his Facebook page. Bragg's approach to social networking is different than that of any other musician I've seen. He actually talks to people on it, and uses it for political organizing in the U.K.

He has also been commenting on our midterm elections from a perspective that's way outside the U.S. mainstream. As he wrote in the song "Some Days I See the Point":

Try to keep a lid on my disappointment
'Cause cynicism's such a cop out, I know

And that's the last thing I'll have to say about the 2010 election.
