As regular readers know, I can't get enough of Hilary Price's comic Rhymes with Orange. Last Sunday's was perfect for those of us who have vegetable gardens.
In the case of my garden, it would be more accurate to make boats out of the cucumbers, which seem to grow from four to 12 inches overnight.
One plant. One plant! How many foot-long cucumbers can it make?
