Today, Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer said that listeners who gave $20 per month could help send a radio to someone in Haiti, but somehow she managed to use the phrase "in that neck of the world" when explaining it.

I think she realized she had misspoken, but of course, she continued on, as she should have. I suppose this usage isn't even exactly wrong; it's just not as colloquial as "neck of the woods."
