Looking Back on the Children of P.S. 8

It's been a while since I've written about collectingchildrensbooks.blogspot.com, so it's time for an update.

Peter S. has had some wonderful posts over the months, but his most recent on Bette Bao Lord's In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson was a real gee whiz read. And be sure to read the comments, too!

Having read the book some years back after I heard Bao Lord speak on my local public radio station, Peter's story was particularly close to my heart -- but I think anyone who likes juvenile/young adult fiction will find this interesting.
