Christmas Sweaters in the Cul de Sac

This Cul de Sac comic strip is for all my female friends and relatives who wear Christmas sweaters. (Click on the art to see it larger.)

Created by Richard Thompson (see his blog here), Cul de Sac has been in the Strib for about a year or so, after winning the comics competition they held. It's a nice mix of off-kilter child perceptions of the world and messy-but-expressive artwork (which I tend to like).

Looking at Richard's blog, I can see that the tiny size the Strib runs his daily strips does them a disservice. He also does illustrations for the New Yorker, including this one:
