How Many Can You Name in Five Minutes?

My daughter challenged me to see how many countries I could name in five minutes on a quiz site she visits.

There are close to 300 countries in our world... and I'm ashamed to admit that between mistyping and a few moments of blankness, I could only come up with about 70 within the time limit.

I did pretty well in North America, Europe and Africa, less well in South America (darn the Caribbean anyway!) and abysmally in Asia (I got India, Bangladesh, Indonesia and Malaysia but forgot to got north of there. Can you say South Korea, China and Japan?). I wasted about 15 seconds getting started and figuring out how it works, then a bit more realizing they wanted me to spell out United States.

If you've got your typing fingers warmed up, give it a try.

0h man, what a fun quiz!! I got 52... but I think part of my problem was spelling. Then I went to see how many 5 year olds I could fight at once. Very cute but you have to sign up for dating at the end. Still good for a laugh. I think I'm going to have to practice this a few more times.
