Lloyd Dangle's Troubletown

Okay, so I guess Lloyd Dangle's Troubletown comic runs in the local City Pages, but I've pretty much given up on reading CP. So I felt like I had never seen it before when I read it in the San Francisco Bay Guardian this week.

I just finished reading Bill McKibben's Deep Economics, and Dangle's strip for the April 2-8 issue resonated strongly with that book's message.

Troubletown comic comparing the U.S. to a drunk running up an unpaid tab in a bar
I'm not sure if Lloyd is specifically thinking of the U.S. national debt, or more broadly of overspending our ecological wealth, but it works in either case.
