At my workplace, there is a glass door with a horizontal push bar. Except you have to pull on it to open the door. Only the other side can be pushed. Even though it says PULL on it in big letters, we all forget and push because horizontal bars say PUSH to our brains. If only the architect had read The Design of Everyday Things...
